We are looking for a Technical Support Analyst for the Operations Team at the EEAS.
The IT challenge
Provide Information Systems technical support for customer issues;
Collaborate with users and other It team with collaborative tools;
Analyse user problems and provide potential workarounds for problems;
Raise information and production incident (bug) to the development team;
Raise information and change request to the project team
Develop and maintain the knowledge base for user support
Report on incidents and problems
Software AG ARIS Collaborative platform;
Atlassian Confluence 6;
Aurea Jive 9 Software development Lifecycle;
IBM Rational Team Concert;
IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation Methodology;
Project Management: PM² and Agile@EC;
Software development: RUP@EC and SCRUM;
Methodical and disciplined problem solving skills
Business analysis and business processes modelling
Information Systems matters and technical knowledge on the projects aspects;
Large organization administrative business processes
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Location: Brussels, BE
Salary up to: 400€/day

Other points of the offer
Currently due to COVID, the job requires 1 day per week in the office and in the remaining days, the consultant within 2 hours reach of the office.
The salary/daily rates presented are the maximum as a freelancer when meeting all criteria.
Belgium permanent employment contract is also one option, with salaries around 2300-2700€ (value after all taxes), when meeting all criteria.

You will be hired by an IT consulting company that has a contract with the European Commission, you won't have any contract with the European Commission.
