Sprint CV Guide for Recruiters: Getting Started on the Free Plan

Summarize this post with AI

Sprint CV’s free plan lets a recruiter or small team centralize consultant CVs, generate client-ready documents, and search a growing talent pool, without a monthly cost. This guide walks through everything the free plan covers: setting up your company, adding consultants, generating CVs, and managing your team.

If you’re managing CVs for a much larger team or company, or need features beyond the free plan, the Sprint CV Onboarding Guide covers the full Enterprise CV Manager, tutorial by tutorial.

The Company Page

The Company page is where you manage your team and company as a whole. It shows four sections, each with a “More” link:

  • ✓Consultant’s Network: your full list of consultants, where you manage your connections to them, edit their profiles, and generate their CVs
  • ✓Manager’s Network: the total number of managers, and where you invite new ones
  • ✓Active Jobs: any job postings your company has created
  • ✓CVs Generated: how many CVs your company has generated this month

Company Settings is where you manage your company’s details, groups and CV templates.

Company Details

Update your company’s name, website, address, fiscal number for invoicing, logo, and the main contact person for your Sprint CV account.

Groups

Groups let you segment your consultants, for example by team, client, or seniority. Add or remove groups from Company Settings, and assign a consultant to a group from their profile.

CV Portfolio

Your CV Portfolio holds the templates available to your company. To add a new one, click “Add New” in CV Portfolio, upload your template and any instructions, and send it to the Sprint CV team, who will build it and add it to your portfolio.

Consultant’s Network

From Consultant’s Network, you manage your consultants profiles:

  • ✓Request access to edit a consultant’s profile, if you have not already been granted it
  • ✓Message a consultant directly
  • ✓Remove a connection to a consultant at any time

Inviting Managers

From Manager’s Network on the Company page, you can invite colleagues and manage their access:

  • ✓Click “More” on Manager’s Network
  • ✓Click “Add Manager”
  • ✓Enter their email, name and surname, and check the consent boxes
  • ✓Press “Create Account”

Each manager is assigned one of four roles, which controls what they can see and do:

Team LeaderOnly their own team of consultants
ManagerAll consultant profiles across the company, plus the company page
AdminEverything a Manager can do, plus inviting managers and changing groups
OwnerFull access, including company settings, inviting managers and changing groups

Adding a New Consultant

Click “New Consultant” on the home page. Enter their name, choose the profile language, and import their existing CV (DOCX, PDF, or LinkedIn profile) if they have one. Click “Create Account” and review what Sprint CV imported.

Editing a Consultant’s Profile

To edit a consultant’s profile, click “Edit Profile” and then click the pencil icon on any section to edit it directly.

Every section works the same way: personal details, CV summary, skills, languages, education, training, professional experience, and the automatic skills, roles and industries evaluations. For a full breakdown of every field and step, see the individual tutorials in the Sprint CV – Onboarding Guide.

Generating a CV

You can generate a CV either from the home page or directly from a consultant’s profile.
